Was your New Year’s Resolution to hang out at the range more? If so, we can definitely help you achieve your goal! The drive is being plowed to enable you to get in some winter range time to prepare for all of the events starting up this spring. Rimfire Wednesdays will be one Wednesday a month, April through October. Defensive Pistol League will have an Introduction night April 26th with season beginning May 3 and running through September. Coyote matches using the ShotMarker are currently set for June 18 & October 29. Military Firearms Day will be June 25. Cowboy Monday’s will be held one Monday a month, April through likely September. Trap shooting will continue to be Tuesday & Thursday nights starting in May with League beginning in June. There will also be 3D archery shoots again. Watch for activities and dates posted in the Events section of the website and on Facebook and as always if you want to get involved, just let us know.
Members will be conducting Hunters Ed/Firearms Safety Class Training beginning March 22. Sign up is through Redwood Falls Community Education. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer Firearms Safety Instructor or are a trained instructor & able to assist please let us know. The club also hosts 4H Youth Shooting Sports and High School Trap and there will be a 4H Instructor Training on May 7.
Improvements will be coming to the 4-H air rifle and archery lane thanks to grant/match programs. Additional evergreen plantings will be done along the west side. More steel will be added to some ranges and activities this year. Club Officers: President Steve Whittet, Secretary/Treasurer Larry Weidell. Annual Banquet
After a 2 year hiatus, it’s back!!!
We can’t wait to see you Saturday April 9th at 6:30pm at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Redwood Falls for our Annual Banquet. Be sure to join us that evening for food, fun, games and prizes. Pulled pork and turkey will be on the menu by popular demand. There are great Raffle ticket prizes this year. We will also have more prizes available to have a chance to win that evening.
