A Premier Destination for Safe & Enjoyable Shooting Sports

The Redwood Falls Sportsmen’s Club offers a variety of shooting ranges designed to accommodate archery enthusiasts, handgun shooters, rifle marksmen, and shotgun sports participants. Whether you’re a seasoned shooter or just starting, our safe, well-maintained ranges provide the perfect place to practice, compete, and enjoy the shooting sports.

Shooting Ranges at Redwood Falls Sportsmen’s Club

Archery Range

Located west of the 50-yard rifle range
3D targets available during scheduled events
Features designated shooting areas for compound, recurve, and crossbows
Broadheads permitted only on personal targets

Handgun Range

Three pistol bays with steel plates, dueling trees, and paper target backstops
Move forward to shoot closer, ensuring all shots hit the berm
Minimum distance for steel targets: 7 yards (10 yards preferred)
Allowed calibers: .22 rimfire, small centerfire pistol calibers, 5.7x28mm, and subsonic 300 Blackout

Rifle Range

50, 100, 200, and 300-yard ranges with covered benches
All shots must impact the berm
No armor-piercing or incendiary rounds
No explosive targets like Tannerite

Shotgun & Trap Range

Three trap houses open May through autumn
League trap shooting every Tuesday & Thursday
High school trap teams practice in spring & fall
All shooting from concrete stations—load only when at the station

Safe Shooting Practices Are Required

Follow the 10 Commandments of Firearm Safety
Never point a firearm at anything you don’t intend to shoot
Keep fingers off the trigger until ready to fire
Be aware of your target and what’s beyond it
Unload and secure firearms when not in use
