FAQ
- What are the hours of operation? Sunrise to sunset. The range is open year round although there are times when it may not be accessible due to events or weather.
- Are day passes available. Unfortunately we do not offer day passes.
- How do I get a membership? There are several ways. You can purchase your membership at River Valley Arms and Ammo, the Sporting Goods counter at the Redwood Falls Running’s, online at the Sportsmens Club website, mail it to P.O. Box Redwood Falls, MN 56283, at eh range on Tuesday night during trap.
- Can I shoot at night. Generally no. The police do a couple times a year. There are lights on the trap range but generally people are done shooting before the sun goes down.
- How long is my membership good for? Memberships expire every April whether you joined in April or November. We do open the membership starting in late December.
- Are there restrictions on the type of ammo I can shoot? Yes there are a few. No 50 BMG, no tracers, no armor piercing on steel targets, no centerfire file cartridges (example .223/5.56 even if it is in a AR pistol) or large magnum on steel pistol targets. Keep in mind if you shoot steel targets too close you may get hit with shrapnel. Eye protection STRONGLY encouraged.
- Who is considered family with the membership? Spouses and dependent children.
- Can I bring a guest? Yes you can but you are responsible for them and must be present at all times.
- Who do I contact if there is an Emergency? Life threatening? Dial 911 and tell them you are at 34813 Laser Ave, Redwood Falls Sportsmens Club.
- What if it something like the trash container is full? Let us know via email, Facebook, or a telephone call.
