Coyote Match

Coming 24 October at 0900. The Coyote Match. Signup begins 30 minutes before.

The two person team using one or two rifles, any caliber but must be supersonic, any sight, any position on the ground, prone or sitting. Bi-pods, backpacks, slings, ground clothes are permitted. Shooting tables, benches, or lead sleds are NOT permitted. Rear support bags cannot touch the stock. Ideally this is the same firearm and equipment used for a Coyote Hunt. The use of Empty Chamber Indicators (ECI) is strongly encouraged.

Targets are 600 yard targets reduced for 200 and 300 yards. Scoring is done using the Shot Marker system. Bring a tablet or use your smart phone to view your hits and score. There is a 5 minute sight in period for each range, then a block time of 10 minutes for the team to fire ten shots each on target for record. All shots must be supersonic at 300 yards.

Cost is $20 per team.

There is also the cold bore side match before the competition begins at 300 yards. All competitors get a chance to fire one shot. Only X’s count. In the event of a tie there is a shoot off.

We would like to try a (NRA) Tactical AR match as a sub category. Any AR platform .223/.308 or something in between, with a bipod.
