Investing in Conservation, Education & the Future of Shooting Sports
At the Redwood Falls Sportsmen’s Club, we believe in giving back to the organizations that share our mission of conservation, responsible hunting, and shooting sports education. By supporting these groups, we help ensure the future of outdoor recreation and wildlife preservation for generations to come.
The Redwood County Chapter 35 of Pheasants Forever is dedicated to upland habitat conservation, youth education, and hunter advocacy right here in our local community. By restoring and protecting pheasant and upland bird populations, they help ensure that future generations have access to public lands for ethical hunting and outdoor recreation. We proudly support their habitat restoration projects, youth mentor hunts, and conservation education initiatives.
The Sunrisers Chapter of the Minnesota Deer Hunters Association (MDHA) plays a key role in protecting deer populations, improving hunting lands, and advocating for responsible wildlife management. Their initiatives, such as Hides for Habitat, youth hunting programs, and hunter advocacy efforts, help strengthen Minnesota’s deer hunting heritage. We are proud to support their mission of conservation, education, and ensuring the future of ethical hunting.
The 4-H Shooting Sports & Wildlife Program provides youth with hands-on experiences in firearm safety, archery, and wildlife conservation. This program is a great way for young outdoor enthusiasts to develop skills, build confidence, and learn the importance of ethical hunting and environmental stewardship. We proudly support 4-H shooting sports as part of our commitment to youth education and engagement.
High School Trap Leagues
High school trap shooting is one of the fastest-growing youth sports in the nation, and we are honored to support local high school trap leagues. These programs teach firearm safety, sportsmanship, and marksmanship while encouraging responsibility and discipline among young shooters. By supporting high school trap leagues, we help ensure that the next generation has access to safe, structured shooting sports opportunities.
National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF)
The National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) plays a crucial role in wild turkey conservation, habitat management, and hunter education. Their efforts have led to the successful restoration of wild turkey populations across the country. We proudly support NWTF’s mission to promote responsible hunting, protect natural resources, and expand public hunting access.
MN DNR Hunter Education Program
The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Hunter Education Program provides essential training in firearm safety, hunting ethics, and conservation practices. Through classroom instruction and field days, this program ensures that hunters of all ages learn responsible and ethical hunting techniques.
We are proud to partner with both the Redwood County Sheriff’s Office and Redwood Area Schools to offer firearm safety training to students and new hunters. These partnerships help us provide comprehensive, hands-on education that fosters safe and ethical hunting practices within our community.
Strengthening the Outdoor Community
At the Redwood Falls Sportsmen’s Club, we know that preserving outdoor traditions requires strong partnerships. By supporting these organizations, we help protect wildlife, hunting lands, and shooting sports opportunities for future generations.
Want to get involved? We encourage our members to volunteer, donate, and participate in these programs to help continue their valuable work.
