  • Membership Validity: Membership runs April to April. Renew on time to maintain access.
  • Access Hours: The range is open year-round from sunrise to sunset.
  • Gate Code: Your membership includes a gate code for entry. Do not share your code—you are responsible for any unauthorized use
  • Golden Rule: Leave the range better than you found it. Be respectful, practice good sportsmanship, and use common sense.
  • Cleanup: Pick up your brass, casings, targets, and trash before leaving. If your target is reusable, leave it for the next shooter. Large items must be taken home.
  • Target Placement: Use only designated areas for target placement. Do not shoot at trees, framework, or unauthorized objects.
  • Property Respect: Treat the club’s facilities and land with care. Vandalism or theft will be prosecuted.
  • Lock the Gate: Always lock the gate after entering or leaving, unless an event is ongoing.
  • Guest Policy: Guests are welcome but encouraged to purchase memberships.

  • Supervision: Shooters under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Hunting Access: Members may contact the club for hunting access details.
  • Eye & Ear Protection: Strongly recommended at all times. Even suppressed firearms require protection for surrounding shooters.
  • Events & Closures: Check the calendar for event schedules. Some ranges may be closed for law enforcement training, permit classes, or 4-H & DNR Firearm Safety programs.

Firearm Safety: The 10 Commandments

Following these universal firearm safety rules ensures that everyone enjoys a safe shooting experience:

1. Always control the muzzle of your firearm. Keep it pointed in a safe direction.

2. Keep your finger off the trigger until ready to fire. Prevent accidental discharges.

3. Treat every firearm as if it were loaded. Assume it is, even if you think otherwise.

4. Know your target and what is beyond it. Always have an adequate backstop.

5. Check your barrel and ammunition. Ensure they match and are free of obstructions.

6. Unload firearms when not in use. Transport firearms safely and unloaded.

7. Point a firearm only at something you intend to shoot. No horseplay with guns.

8. Don’t run, jump, or climb with a loaded firearm. Always unload before crossing obstacles.

9. Store firearms and ammunition separately and securely. Prevent unauthorized access.

10. Avoid alcohol or drugs before and during shooting. Stay alert and responsible.
